2024 Board Members
The Rossmoor Braver Angels Club has an all-volunteer Board. To meet our goal of reducing divisiveness and polarity, we strive to have an even balance of Red (conservative leaning) and Blue (liberal leaning) Board members. Of course, those who are independent or whose beliefs do not align with either a Republican or Democratic perspective (Purple) are always welcome.

Richard (Dick) Coleman
Blue Co-President
As a marriage and family therapist, I learned how important it is to really listen to
different points of view. This is so important in the political world. We must learn to
respectfully listen to each other, especially when we disagree.

Lee Deily
Red Co-President
I became a Braver Angel because I believe
Americans need to learn to communicate with citizens of different views. The pillars of our democracy will thrive and endure if the people can
understand how critical depolarization is.

Michele Beach
Secretary (Blue)
As an educator and life-long learner, I enjoy having enriching discussions with people who have different life experiences, ideas, and opinions.

Chuck Beach
Treasurer (Purple)
As a proud, purple independent, I believe the most important thing we can do as an electorate is to rise above the rancor and have civil discussions to better understand each other.

Bruce Kaplan
Board Member at Large (Red)
During my sales and marketing career, I learned that success comes from careful and active listening. Similarly, Braver Angels has created a platform where all of us are able to communicate without rancor but with understanding.
